The Most Unlucky Home Numbers in England

Share

According to a survey, made by the British website confused.com, the biggest jinxes are the inhabitants of the buildings with number 243.

Forty-five percent of the homeowners, living in apartments and houses with number 243 had insurance events from 2007 up to now. It is difficult to believe that nearly half of them had accidents in their homes in the last four years! And the compensation claims to the insurance companies were higher in comparison to the insured owners living in buildings with other numbers.

Among the unluckiest are buildings with numbers 201, 240, 241, 221, 217 and 218. It seems that the three figures home numbers do not bring good luck to their inhabitants! Surprisingly, the residents of buildings with number 13 were among the luckiest: they are on the 182 place in the ranking. Only 18 per cent of them have had accident claims.

It is interesting to know, what had happened to the people living on the number 243? The thefts were only 4% of the covered risks, while the whole 75% have suffered incidents like floods, fire damages and other material losses.

In conclusion, here is the list of the top ten home unlucky numbers in England: 243, 201, 1, 190, 240, 241, 221, 217, 218, 121 and 182. Assuming these findings, it is therefore interesting to see whether the insurers will elevate the insurance premiums to their clients, living in buildings with more “risky numbers.” Although it sounds funny, everything is possible.
